Privacy policy

Posting Pal publishes content you create to social accounts you connect yourself. This page explains exactly what we hold, why we hold it, and how to remove it.

What we collect

• Your account details. Your name and email address, so you can sign in and so we can contact you about your account.
• Connection tokens for accounts you link. When you connect a social account, that platform gives us a token that lets us publish on your instruction. We store it encrypted and use it for nothing else.
• The content you schedule. The posts, captions and images you choose to publish, plus when you want them published.
• Publishing results. Whether a post succeeded or failed, and any error the platform returned, so we can show you what happened.

What we do not do

• We never post anything you have not explicitly scheduled or approved.
• We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not read, collect or store your social messages, contacts or follower lists.
• We never ask for or store your passwords for any social platform.

Who we share it with

Only the social platforms you connect, and only to carry out the publishing you asked for. We use ordinary infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) who process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Your content and publishing history stay in your account until you delete them or close your account. Disconnect a social account and we delete its token immediately and stop using it. Close your account and we delete your data within 30 days, except anything we are legally required to retain, such as payment records.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@getpostingpal.com and we will action it within 30 days. You can disconnect any linked account yourself, at any time, from inside the product or from that platform's own settings.

Security

Connection tokens are stored encrypted. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you promptly and plainly.

Children

Posting Pal is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
